awesome abundance - network for enterprising women

This is what kept me awake up to 4 a.m.!

Let me qualify, before you get me wrong.

One night unable to sleep, I switched on the TV and chanced upon an episode of ShopTalk.  There I saw 5 witty ladies talking about women and entrepreneurship.

“What a coincidence!,” I thought.

For in my dream board, two of the things I wrote for this year are “I will embrace the entreprenuerial mindset” and “I have NEW prosperous businesses!”

The ladies in the show were talking about an upcoming event, I told myself, this one I shouldn't miss!  I was all ready with my pen and paper when they mentioned their website and contact numbers!

Then the ladies in the said episode showed some of their products, one of which was the Kalamansi Squeeze.  I was so excited about the product because…

awesome abundance - lessons from taxi driver

Kuya Marc and I were on our way to a seminar and we met Mang Ed.

Mang Ed is a taxi cab driver.  He took us to the hotel which is the venue of the seminar.

On our way to the venue, we noticed that his cab is equipped with the receipt printer.  After we paid the required fare, he proudly issued us a receipt.

This immediately transported us to first world countries, one of which is Singapore where cabbie-drivers issuing receipts are part of everyday norm.

But this is not the story…

Mang Ed, the cabbie driver asked Kuya what seminar we are attending.

“Seminar po kung paano yumaman,” Kuya Marc answered.

“Hindi na kelangan ang seminar kung gusto mong yumaman! You only need TWO things.”

awesome abundance - great family

2009 has been a good year for me and my family, so allow me to express my appreciation for the past year via this game called “Rampage of Appreciation”.

The game is simply a list of things that you appreciate.

According to Abraham Hicks and the Law of Attraction, it is when you are in the appreciating mood that your energy is uplifted.  This puts you in a space where you'll be more open to inspired actions which will help you attract what you truly want!

So here is my list of rampage of appreciation for 2009:

1.  I appreciate learning about blogging!  I have so much respect for my blogging mentors:  Anton and Ka Edong.  I thoroughly enjoyed the company of my blogging classmates! I enjoyed expanding from a newbie mindset and came up with 2 websites.

2. Awesome abundance celebrated its 1st birthday.  On its first birthday, Awesome Abundance had a clearer niche.  It now caters to OFW families. Finally, I bought the dot com domain name of this blog!

3.  I appreciate the trip to Malaysia to attend the National Achiever's Congress featuring Robert Kiyosaki and his team of advisors!  Part of my big dream is to meet the Kiyosaki couple live.  Hearing and meeting the Rich Dad Advisors live were such a big bonus.

I sooooo appreciate the KL trip for I finally visited a big butterfly garden, got up close and personal with a huge snake and did sky diving!

4.  I am so thankful of Hubby's business and his team's achievements.  Kuya Marc was so proud to accept the award in behalf of his Dad.

5. 2009 is unforgettable for it is the year when I finally experienced freedom from 1 million debt!

In a previous post, Thank God for Skype!, I shared how Skype has opened communication lines for OFW families like me.

Apart from reconnecting families, the best part of the deal is that Sype to Skype calls are FREE!

My hubby and Kuya Marc want to have regular weekly communications.  My  eldest son has so many questions in business and in live life that he needs the advice of his Dad. Previously, they have been communicating via YM and cellphone to cellphone calls.

Why spend when there is free service available?

All you need is to open a Skype account and be online.

I hope this video on How to Use  Skype  will help all the OFW fathers and sons to keep their communication lines open, more frequent and meaningful!

Enjoy Awesome Abundance,

Jones

P.S.  For non techie OFW Dads, you can ask your sons to open a Skype account for you.  Just give them instructions on your preferred username and passwords!
